What was your first Sonic game?

I'm not very old and didn't play that many games when I was young (only Pokemon and a few others 
) so my first Sonic game was Sonic Advance 2 for Game Boy Advance and the only other Sonic game was Sonic Rush Adventure for the Nintendo DS. I never really found them that good or addicting, especially after years of playing Pokemon and Super Mario Brothers. I don't think I've ever finished them either.
So what was your first Sonic game? What was your experience with it? Do share your experiences and memories your first (or second or third) Sonic game!

My very first Sonic game was Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis. :D My uncle wanted to give away his Sega Genesis with Sonic the Hedgehog and decided to give it to me. I was only 5 at the time! xD I still have it, I still play it d:

My very first Sonic game was Sonic 2, played it when I was six while I was over at someone else's house. Most of my frustration was focused on Chemical Plant Zone and Hilltop Zone. I never got farther until much, much later after I played Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast version).

When I was around 8 or so I think. I played Sonic 3 on sega genesis at my brothers house. It was a huge thing for us because we only still had nintendo games!

Dude you should download an emulator and play all the sonic games. I'm gonna soon. Start. A blog all about gaming throughout time starting from the first ever console to our latest ones. Ill let you all know when um ready with it

I'm pretty sure my first Sonic game was Sonic the Hedgehog (for Sega Dreamcast). I liked it well enough at the time. Now I prefer Sonic games such as Sonic the Hedgehog (the new version for PS3) and Sonic Unleashed (PS3). Sonic Adventure is cute too. But I still like the ones for PS3 best.
