Changing Rear Ends- Both at a Bargain

Today I spent the day changing rear ends. Yes, I have the ability to do such mechanical stealth with my hands. The first rear end I changed is Gracelynns rear end. She has had some pretty nasty turds, and my wife was at work, so grandpa got the luck of the draw and for 6 hours I was in charge of changing the poopy...it is a harsh task, but I got these diapers at half off price. Come 2 0'clock though. I pick-ed up the wife and she took over changing that rear end. I then went right to work with my mechanical wonders again, changing Elijahs rear end. He is 25. What happened last week that lead to me changing his rear end today was exausting. I really had to bend over backwards before bending over every day for a week straight spreading bark at a lady friends house. We really screwed up his rear end by hauling such weight and so we ended up searching for a new rear end and we could not afford $350 at the local junk yard so we called another junker that once bought a rad car from us. He promised at least 90% off all parts for life, so we found that rear end after all, and it cost us $25 and 2 hours of our time to pull our rear end our selves. Today, Elijah got right on it and jacked his rear end up for all to see. He had that rear end plucked by 4:30 and the new rear end in by 7:30. I now have to go change the breaks in the rear end before it gets too dark.

The job of changing rear ends is tiring indeed. Today i have to load several loads of scrap and go to the recycling yard, I am running low on cash at hand.

Hello PoppaDave Sounds like you have been busy as well as having a lot of fun. Sounds like you got an incredible price on a new rear end for Elijah. The one thing about my new crib that I don't like is not having the outside space to work on things like that. Plus, I miss my tractor.

We got the breaks done and bled yesterday and now we are swamppled with work. I wish I had a tractor to begin with, we could use one. We have an acre which we mow with a push mower and it has 3 elevated levels to mow(tiers).

My tractor was great. It had a front-end loader, and I often used it to lift things. I used to have a small timber farm -- 100 acres. I spent a lot of time on that tractor, thinking. Now I have less than an acre, and use a human-powered reel mower. At least I'm getting exercise.

Yes, I even cut down a tree in the yard that was crowding another. The crowded tree now has room to I hooked a rope to the old trees rear end( 6 foot stump) and pulled the other one straight.
