Why pawnshops doesn't accepts smart phones?

Money's pretty tight for me these days. I tried pawning my smart phone (blackberry) but not even a pawnshop accepts in my city. Any reasons why?

Really? Did you ask the pawnshop why? They should accept that coz they accepts cheap phones.

Yeah I asked. They just said that it's not in there list of accepted phones.

That's weird. They should accept it since they accept lower end phones and they even accepts digital camera also. Maybe you should try pawning it to different pawnshop? Or just pawn it to someone you know.
