Anybody tried the new items in the McDonald's menu. Its the spice fest, and they have Mexican burgers, and Asian chilly garlic dip and African Peri Peri spices fries in their menus now. The Mexican burgers remind me of the zinger burgers at KFC. But the Peri Peri fries are so yummy they make me want to lick my fingers [which I have never wanted to do]. The spice comes with the fries at the cost of Rs 10 extra [India], and they give you a shake-shake bag to mix it up with the fries. And I swear, it is the most tasty fries I have ever had. Try them!

That does sound very delicious actually! I would sure like to try that, but I wonder if Mcdonalds over here will have the same "spice fest". I'm guessing not.

I guess not too. But I want to share this with everyone, it is delicious. Where is here exactly? And give it a try, if it is not available there, make a suggestion, maybe they will introduce it there too.

An Indian eating at McDonalds! As someone who is used to eating Pakistani food, I can't believe it. The only tasty thing in McDonalds is the ketchup - and then I would much prefer a spicy version. Are you sure that you didn't eat the packaging instead, Afterall, it tastes much the same. When you live in a country reknowned for it's street vendors, and kebabs, etc. - why McDonalds?

No, I did not eat the packaging [I do not think that would be yummy enough to make me lick my fingers]. And don't misunderstand, I love my street foods too, like pani-puri. But I am a huge fan of fries and coca cola is my all time favorite aerated drink [as compared to Pepsi or ThumbsUp]. I also love McDonald's because, believe it or not, some things are really good there. And not just the ketchup. The Peri Peri fries are spicy and they have a taste of garlic, herbs, and even tamarind tang to it. Trust me, do not wash it off without tasting it first. And I also love the coke floats there. I don't know there is something about vanilla ice-cream in Coke that just pulls me in. That is the reason I loved the Vanilla Coke [which didn't do well anywhere and its production was stopped]. And the McDonald's Aloo Tikki, how can I forget that? That is a good burger [but only when I have it 'with cheese']. I am a huge foodie and I am not ashamed to admit it. Growing up in India I have so many different and world's most tastiest food choices to choose from, but I like to think I am a fair person, and I love pizza, fries, lasagna and pasta as much as I love my curry-rice, pani-puri and biryanis. And a tip for you, if you do not like the ketchup at McDonald's and would like a spicy version, go for the various dips that they have introduced last year. As a foodie, I know this, they have chinese schezwan, Asian garlic [recently introduced] and various other dips to cater to different tastes, be it spicy, mild, garlicky, tangy, etc.
