I am really proud of my daughter who has been studying part time for four years in order to get a qualification in accounts, she has a home, two children and a husband to care for .She also works in an office .I do not know how she fits it all in.I help with the kids a couple of times a week during the school holidays. Her mother in law also helps her out.She is almost exhausted but does her last exam on the 21 june and that is it,She says she has had enough. She is 34 and is totally amazing.Have anyone one else got children who are mature students, how did they cope and where you able to help and support them.

It is always harder when you have children to be able to get an education, because you don't have the same amount of time as the other people might have had. But the good thing is that having children means that you have to be more organised, and that level of organisation really can help with regards to going back into education, as this is something that people without children can struggle with themselves at times. A lot of people manage to have a full time job while they have children, so education is no more time consuming than this really.

Wow that is a FULL load! You should be proud of her. I put my self through full time college during the day and worked 3rd shift at a local factory for 4 years but i had no kids and my hubby was deployed at that time. I can't imagine doing it and trying to take care of a family too. At least there is light at the end of the tunnel for her and she can relax soon
