I got my first earning on Squidoo! The problem is...

I'm so happy to receive an email from Squidoo telling me that they've just sent me my earning to Paypal. The problem is, I went to my Paypal and my balance is still 0. I reread the email and learned that I had to confirm my email address in order to see the money in my Paypal. A confirmation code had also been provided. So I clicked the link. It didn't ask for the confirmation code. It just said that I had successfully verified my email address. I looked at the balance again but it was still the same. Did I do anything wrong? I checked my Paypal account today and it's still 0. Should I start worrying? I use the same email on Squidoo and Paypal. I had my Paypal account long before I joined Squidoo.

Hi Cheerfulnuts,
Thats cool that you are getting your payout! That always is so cool isnt it? I am not familiar with squidoo so I am not really sure what the hold up could be. I am wondering if it could be just a matter of waiting for a certain time before it shows up. If all the information is correct then thats probably the waiting game that you get to play now. And if you wait to long I would check with paypal and then I would check with squidoo and see how long until you should see the deposit.

I hope so too! Especially when you spend your time and have been promised to make an amount. Have you found that others have gotten a payout? Or have you found that eveyone else has had luck getting paid?

Squidoo members get their payouts. Maybe there's just a problem with my account. Since it's my first time to get paid, I'm not sure if I have missed any important steps.

Yes it's cool. I just hope that I would get the payment, or else, that would be so uncool.:( Squidoo is a very popular site, but it's tough to earn a descent amount. I've already told Squidoo about it, but haven't heard from them yet.

The best way to confirm is to contact squidoo, you will soon get know, where the problem is.

No,I don't believe you did anything wrong.Just sometimes it may take one to five days for it to completely process.....unfortunatly!

I've already emailed Squidoo about it and was told that it may take days or even weeks for Squidoo to fix the problem. I hope things will smooth out. Thanks for your response, dfollin. :)

First of all, congrats for your payout. 
Nope. I don't think you have done anything wrong. It takes time for the transaction to get completed and it is a very strong possibility. But I think, you should take some quick action and write to Squidoo first. Maybe they can better answer your query. I also suggest you read the PayPal guidelines as well about receiving money. You are more likely to get your answer here.

Thank you abhi_bangal.:) I've already emailed Squidoo and told them about this. I received an auto-reply so I'm sure they already got my letter. However, until now, I haven't heard from them yet. It was mentioned in their auto-reply that it may take weeks for them to fix my problem.

I suggest you contact Squidoo and confirm with them that they've sent your payment to the right Paypal address otherwise I fear your payment might be lost. When I receive payment notification from any website, I will immediately see the payment in Paypal. It doesn't take several days for the payment to get through. Contact Squidoo.

Thanks UmiNoor, I've already contacted Squidoo. It might take weeks for them to fix it. I don't see any reason why Squidoo would send it to a wrong email, as I'm using the same email address on Squidoo and Paypal. I hope they will fix this problem soon. :)

Yeahh they are right, just wait for some few days. Online money making sites are regularly not a quick payment processors. On the other side, you must also see if the email was valid or really came from Squidoo, internet mailing has lot of scams. Anyway, I'm not a Squidoo member, could you share your earning experiences from there?

i also visited squidoo twice to know, whether is there anything interested in it from which earning can be made. i haven't found anything. Can anybody tell me what's squidoo and how it works and how can we get best out of it.
