What a sad news to hear from the newspaper, Nokia has to slash 10,000 jobs, since they can't compete the smartphone markets, along with Apple's iPhone. They simply losing market in the U.S. and the worldwide. And their stock price just plunge to junk stock as many people called it. Once, Nokia phones were so popular, and it was one of the hot sale phone in the market. Now, without competitive cell phone model, or flashy operating system, (Honestly, Windows 7 for mobile really boring from the outlook of it); they lose huge market to other competitors. From what I see, if you can't fit into this market, they soon will be gone. What do you think of it?

very sad indeed! I remember that when I was young all the cellphones of my friends were nokia cellphones and almost every month new phone models are coming out. Nokia phones are user friendly and that is why we like them. right now there are a lot of models and samsung is also very competitive already. I feel sad for nokia

I am feeling the sad about the Nokia demise as well, katrinapaz. Hopefully they can make a turn-around in the business before it is too late.

Yeah. I also heard some gossip that nokia will go bankrupt in the future. I am not really sure if I would believe that because nokia has been a good brand for phones for so many years.

Hello kingparker I had wondered what happened to the Nokia mobile telephones. I used to have the Nokia mobile telephones and I enjoyed them over all the other mobile telephones on the market. Of course, this was a long time ago. It is sad for a company that was once so prolific in the mobile telephone market to be struggling to survive. I feel sad for Nokia and all the folk who will lose their jobs because of poor decisions within the company.
