I always feel so bloated after eating

I noticed that whenever I eat a meal, my stomach feels pretty bloated afterwards. This even happens even though I don't eat tons of food. I eat pretty average sized meals but my goodness, sometimes I just feel so bloated after. I'm not sure if it's because I'm skinny to begin with and then all the food just hits my stomach and makes me feel bigger. I just went out to dinner with my parents and right after eating my tummy felt bloated. I don't think there's anything wrong, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about this or if it happens to them

Hi: Just watch your weight, that's all there is to it. Feeling full is normal after eating, don't overdo it, just the right amount of food and the right weight for your age and size. If you are not fat, then, we should envy you for you can eat all you can with ample room for growth.

No, I'm definitely not fat or overweight. I think I just feel extra bloated because I'm so skinny to begin with and once the food settles in my stomach I feel slightly bigger. I don't think there's anything wrong, I just think it's all the food settling in my stomach that makes me feel bloated.

Hi courtknee! It happened to me for the past few months not until I found out that I have a condition in my digestive system. I had inflamed gallbladder or cholecystitis as medical people say. You may consider having it check if you have the chance, consult a doctor. If it's chonic, it maybe something is going on your stomach or somewhere. This is not to scare you or something but just want to give you an advice. Oh, good news, I had it operated last December and I have no feeling of that ever since, I'm pain-free. Be well. Goodluck.

thank you, I hope it's nothing serious for me. I don't have any pain after eating, my stomach just feels like it's bloated. I'm thinking it's normal but I'll probably mention it the next time I go to the doctor.

Hi carb meals (empty carbs like pasta and white bread) make me feel bloated and I think it is because the empty carbs just create lots of gas, and mess with the blood glucose levels in my body. I feel tired and just feel bloated in my stomach and below my stomach. When I eat whole grain and no empty carbs I don't have that... also portion sizes are important. As we get older (I know you are young, but you are getting older every day) we don't need as much food. Like pasta, the serving size is just a half cup.. 4 ounces... so when you dip into it and get a bunch... you (not you.. you in general) might be getting more than the body needs. I try not to eat more than 6 ounces of food at one time because I had the gastric bypass. Pay attention to what you eat... note your feelings of bloating with different foods you eat... like what triggers the bloating and what doesn't. That might be your guide of what not to eat.

I have this same problem, courtknee525. This is why I don't eat before I slip into a bikini and head off to the beach. It doesn't seem to matter how little I eat, I just feel bloated in my tummy. It pooks out a bit. I suggest that you take a Beano when you eat. That may help.

I usually only look a little bloated, but I feel like I'm huge lol. It usually only happens to me when I eat an actual meal. When I go to work and bring my lunch with me I don't feel like that. It seems to happen only when I eat heavier foods for dinner.
