it is hard to work on the road with ongoing repair while it is wet

there has been some rain. and awhile ago i passed a street where there was some real work being done. i don't want to go another way as it will make me go around some distance and i am not willing to go a long way just to avoid this muddy road. so i have to get through it the best i can and tried to step on some block of stones where my feet would not go down the mud. thankfully i just get my feet just little bit dirty but nothing muddy .
