Earning money by uploading pics?

I have clicked a few good pics while travelling abroad last month. I want to make money by uploading these pics on the internet. I have found a few good good sites like Shutterstock, flixya, shareapic, picable. Can you tell me how these work? Which is best? And if there are any India-based sites like these?
