Is it possible to block unwanted or annoying calls and sms on my phone? I am using Samsung Galaxy S i9003. My friend said that there is a setting for it, but she don't remember where to find it. Please I need your help if you know about this. Thanks in advance! :-)

I think we can block a calls only. We can't block sms at all. I do it in my phone also..and one time, my boyfriend called me, his number is rejected because my phone was in refused mode, it means it rejects all phone calls from people in my list...

How about bringing your Samsung Galaxy S i9003 to where you have bought it. I hope you have bought it near your place.

Yeah, I will bring it if I can get a chance to go the city. I live in the province right now. But, I followed the steps what the others told me to do, and it seemed to work. I haven't receive any calls and text message from the person I blocked so far.

Yes, I downloaded sms blocker but still I can still read the messages. It don't delete the message unless you will delete it. It won't go to your inbox, it goes to the sms blocker application but you can still be able to read the messages when you open it. :-(

Yeah it would really depend on the phone you are using so better ask Samsung about it.I old phone,Nokia E71 has this features of this where in you can block a specific number you want but you can still received text messages.Useful if you don't want a particular number to answer.

I would think there would be a customer service number you could call to find out what the best option would be.
Maybe you could tell them the details of your situation so they can help you decide what to do.

I was using Samsung Champ last year and it has a feature where you can actually add a number to your rejected list in your call settings. All calls from those numbers will all be rejected. But you would still know that someone is calling since the numbers will still be reflected but will be rejected on the first ring. You cal also reject all calls from numbers that aren't registered in your phonebook. You also have the option to block some numbers from sending you messages by adding them in your block list in your message settings. Adding a number to your block list will automatically send their messages to a certain folder I can't remember if it is a spam folder. So technically, you will still receive their messages but instead of receiving them in your inbox, they will go directly to the spam folder. You still have the option to read them or just delete them all. One thing I remember is that you will not be informed that you have received a message from those block listed numbers.

Hi chicgale, I am not familiar with the operation of the
phone you have but I would suggest you go online and contact
the maker. I am sure they can aadvise you if a block can
be done and if so, help you with the know how....
Good luck!!!!

Hi soorajsrs7srs, I also feel disturbed by such unwanted phone calls and messages. So, too, should follow your instructions to get rid of this problem.
