well my daddy was actually sent home today. he could have gone home yesturday but he wanted to make sure the meds would work right and also my mom had already rented the hotel room so he came home this afternoon :) i am sooo happy. i called and talked to him yesturday for about 20 minutes and my kids said hello. he said he really wants to see them so i plan to try and go up there 1 evening this week :) i am just so glad that he is already at home and is doing great. this is very unusual that they send them home so quickly but from what i understand he was doing WAY better than EVERYONE expected :)
i just wanted to update everyone and say THANK YOU ALL for all the prayers :)

i had never heard of that before. thank you for the link. they are hoping that they got it all out but until the test comes back they will not know for sure. i will definately show my daddy that website so he can look it up and he can make the choice if that is something that he would be interested in.

thank you so much for all the prayer and the support thro this tough time.
we are still waiting on the results of 1 more test to find out if there is still some cancer some where else or if they got it all but it is so far so good :) so i am praying that they got it all and that everything stays good :)

well I am sure that last test is needed, because my operation
was Aug 16th and they had to go back in on Sept 11th because the
pathology report showed some residuals on the report and she
went back in to clean up the area thoroughly,,,she was not sure
what it was maybe fatty tissues, but better safe than sorry..

yes this test was to find out if there was any cancer somwhere else. if not then they got it all and he is good to go. if the test is to show that there is some cancer some where then he will have to go thro chemo. he doesnt want to do this because chemo did nothing but make my papa sicker and sicker with time.

it is always better tobe to safe than sorry later on so it is a good thing that they had done that extra test for you :)
