What love really means to you

Like most people, i've been in love. The greatest feelings of all. The feeling of love and being loved by someone or everyone. I was in a relationship long time ago for almost 3 years. Sadly it has to end, probably love was lost along the way making the relationship fragile when it decided to break in the end. Even though we broke up, i still love her. We still keep in touch until this very day and maybe now i still love her but just as friends. True love is not about sacrifice, but is about giving. I gave my time to her, affection and attention when we were together and when we are no more together. She gave me the same amount and i am pleased. Love enables me to take care of 2 puppy and now they've grown up into strong dogs who'll take care of me and entertain me. For the love of my hobby, i spend a certain amount of money so i could enjoy doing what i always do. My parents love ensure that i grow up and become a good man until today and i shall do the same for my kids. Love teaches me to forgive, love teaches me to share and love teaches me to care. So what love really means to all of you mylot community?

Love is about caring and showing concern to someone and you do not expect any returns at the end of the day. It is not about saying, but it is more about doing, show your love and not talk about it. When you love someone with your true heart , the other party will feel it, this is real love

Hi elguardian, To me, love means caring for someone no matter what happens in life. No matter what they've done to you, no matter what you've done to them (either positive or negative). I agree with you saying that it is about giving because it is. You do things out of love for the other person without expecting anything in return. True love is something that never ends and even if it does, they will still always have a special place in your heart. :)
