Silk Screening on Textiles Part II

I have collated silk screening providers here in the Philippines and i was sooooooo surprised when i got their quotation. I have requested for silk screen over 100% cotton fabric and the design is just a jumble of musical notes. For silk screen to be done for 5yard 60width fabric, that would cost around 14thou!!! Whaaaaaaaaaat??!!! I didnt know it was that expensive??!!! Has anyone of you tried digital printing??? How much does it cost?

Here hand woven pure silk Sambalpuri saris may cost more than 50 000 rupees depending upon design, exactly similar looking stuff but printed using screen printing will cost 5000 maximum..
