What is your stance on euthanasia (ending the life of an individual suffering)?

I am just wondering and hoping to get some input from all you out there. Please keep in mind that everything needs to be supported by factual evidence, so that means no opinions. What is your stance on Euthanasia (The act or practice of ending the life of an individual suffering from a terminal illness or an incurable condition, as by lethal injection or the suspension of extraordinary medical treatment)? if your relative was in the hospital and was just living to breathe and stay alive, would you cut the cord and end his/her life so he/she would not have to suffer? or would you keep the machine on so that he/she may live?
