A lot of my friends have asked me to start reading journals, novels and stuff. Now, I am not much of a reader kinds, So far, I have read only about five books and all of them were fiction. When I read these, I read and completed it within a day, for some reason, if I carry forward the reading for the next day, reading isn't that fun anymore, I tend to lose interest. How do you develop interest in reading? Do you have some tips?

I use to get annoyed reading, but now I do love it very much. You have to place yourself in a fantasy world of imagination. You have to take something and learn it from everything you read. It is about a person's personality too though.

I just do not like leaving something midway but I also do not like continuing reading the same book next day. My brain just somehow creates a plot of its own about whatever I read and then its not fun anymore to read the rest of the book. I like reading, and I want to read and develop interest in it. I do not know if I love reading.

What the person said above is true. To enjoy fiction you have to immerse yourself in a world of imagination. Analyse the characters as if they are real. Although I do think it's not really healthy to dwell too much in fiction. But maybe you just haven't found the right book that suits you yet. My advice, keep reading. Visit the library. The world of books is not as dull as you sometimes think when you get bored with your current book. Explore. You'll be surprised. Keep reading.
