hi surveychick4! i have always wanted to go there too, and see bible places...i know some people who have gone and say it is a beautiful land and helps them in their faith to be able to see and experience it...i also would like to visit rome and see places where the early church existed...

I am not from Israel but I have spent a lot of time studying there and go back often to visit. I have been to many countries around the world and nothing feels like Israel. Night time in Jerusalem is just amazing, perhaps the history and holiness combined? Have you started saving up? Any specific sites you want to see there?
