The new season started off with the hotties versus the nerds. Although two hotties and only one nerd made it to the wipeout zone, the nerd won. I consider this to be more of a game show than a reality show so I am a little more willing to watch it. This episode did have some funny moments. I just can't understand how more people aren't injured on this show than there are.

I missed last week's episodes although it did re-air tonight. But I was watching baseball so I missed it. This week I'll remember it's on and at least record it. It's so funny! I don't really like when they do nerds vs. hotties or couples or mother/son theme shows. Those aren't as fun to me.

The next episode is also a theme show; contestants who are in the military.

I usually watch the Wipeout series whenever it is aired on TV. I do get the humor out of the misfortune of the contestants, and i am happy that injuries are not predominantly observed by the audience; as that would be bad for business of its kind! Anyway, great show., and more power to the producers of the show.

Actually, quite a few people have been hurt on the show, as I have watched interviews with some of the past people that appeared on the show. Several have stated that they wish they hadn't tried out for the show, as if your not in good shape you really can get hurt easily. The game really is hard. One man talked about how he injured his back and another had a cast. We have seen people quit after getting injured more than once. I occasionally watch now, as really hate to watch anyone get hurt.

You have to wonder if we get to see all the contestants. We may only be seeing the better ones or the ones they want to show. They may not want to show contestants who get hurt on the show because it would discourage others from trying out.

I've been seeing the commercials for the new season and I've wondered the exact same thing. Some of those people get hit pretty hard by the game course and it amazes me how no one ends up getting hurt. I know that all the obstacles are made with soft materials but still, you can get hit with a pillow and it can still hurt you. I've always wondered how nobody ends up injured when the fall or get body slammed by these crazy obstacles.
