Too much of expectations will cause disappointment. We must control our expectations to avoid disappointments. Every one facing disappointments in their life and we must be sportive and take it as a normal one. Worrying a lot for our disappointments don't give any benefits to us. To avoid disappointment, avoid the highest expectations. Surely we will be sad after our disappointment, as it is not easy to tolerate the disappointments, but we must cope with it. We know about our abilities, skills and talents and expect the things within our limitation to avoid disappointment, if we expect a lot we must work hard to fulfill our expectation. Our hard work will help us to avoid disappointment, if we expect a lot without our efforts, we will face disappointment. Take your failures as your lesson and learn a lot for experience. Tolerate the disappointments and face another challenge in your life with your hard work and effort. It will help you to avoid disappointments. Worrying will waste your time, so don't worry about your disappointment and ready for your next challenge with your confidence.

First, accept that i am upset and confirm why am i upset. This will help me realize my mistakes that i may have made, or the mistakes that others have made that lead to to feel disappointed. Second, Think happy thoughts. I haven't been disappointed all my life, have you? Think of good times, relive them in my head, imagine some crazy stuff, or try to make the best out of my disappointment. Deep thinking can also help. Third, go on a walk or get some exercise. This will, in fact, improve my mood. Exercise increases the vitamin serotonin, which will refresh and improve our disappointed state of mind.

It's hard to cope with disappointment if you don't have the right thinking. So whenever I feel this way, I put much effort to my thoughts. I don't spend time for the things that could enhance my disappointments. I try to make myself happy by appreciating the good qualities that I have. I browse pictures and reminisce those happy moments. Recently I read an article that this really helps a lot. That is the reason why I guess I feel good after doing this. I sleep a lot and treat myself well. I eat any food that I like to eat. So the secret is just to keep your mind away from the things that disappoints you.

The last time I felt disappointment was a few days ago when I failed in my driving test. It was supposed to make me very disappointment since, for personal reasons, I will have my next test only tow month from now. However, I decided not to let my failure let me down. I know that disappointment won't do any goof for my, so there is no use in being disappointed. If you would like a "tip" of overcoming disappointment, when I feel disappointed I listen to "Don't worry, be happy" by Bob Marley.:)

I don't expect too much. So if things didn't turn out the way it should be, the pain would be not that much.

I try to focus myself away from the thought, person, or thing that disappointed me. Like for example yesterday, I was supposed to get paid more than what I am supposed to get, but turns out I didn't so I was disappointed, so I did a posting spree on here, made me forget about it, even for a moment, but thanks to this post I am again reminded of the disappointment. haha. just kidding. I also watch movies or series, comedy shows when I am disappointed, not to mention, eating ice cream or chocolates. :)

I have felt like I was a disappointment in life. And I did overcome it. I realized there were certain people that made me feel this way so I try my best to stay away from them as much as I can. When I do have to see them I remind myself in my head what a good person I am,I am a good wife and a good mother. It helps me to keep my focus on the positive and not care what they think or say...

Hi ! I think each and everyone of us experienced disappointment,in overcoming disappointments, I just shift my attention to other things, such as reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends, sometimes I clean,Joke around with others and laugh. We can do anything we want, just keep us busy for the meantime so that we are not able to think of that situation again, if so you remember it, the intensity of the disappointment isn't that severe than before. :)
