If internet make you mad this time, stop paying them or deduct the amount of lost time your service provider cost you. It is perfectly alright for you not to pay internet bill this month if they can't keep the line working 24 hours but at the same time charge you the same amount of monthly fee, you have every right to do that since the business is ripping you off by not fulfilling its promises to their customer.

i soo wish it were that easy. but over here we can't just not pay. if we do that without going thru a proper investigation we can loose are internet connection for good. and northland cable is the only one that is available for the hill country in my state. our next step would be to send them a letter stating that we will not be paying for so and so month unless our internet is working 24/7. we have been going thru this far too long and quite frankly im tired of it. i dont like being given the runaround.

You know by paying $54 a month, you should at least get an uninterrupted internet connection service from your provider 24/7/30/365, it is a big sum of money you are paying up front compare to many country, i've a feeling that your connection speed is some what very slow too, not just the bad service you are getting from this one sole service provider in your town. You are absolutely RIGHT, nothing much you can do about it since it is the only one company that monopolize the whole market place in hill county in your state, you can loose the service for good if you decide to defend your consumer rights and they begin to retaliate against you.

Well, yes. In my case, the problem is that the best service provider in our country is still notorious in their internet service provision. So there really is no choice but to be patient and stick around with them rather than cut the service and get myself killed with the other worse providers out in here.

54$ a month for internet, it is expensive. I just pay $12 in here and the internet speed is very fast already. It is really irritating when you want to connect to the internet but the connection is very bad...Luckily i don't get that problem right now. You know i can't work...if the internet connection is failed...

hi there, I have experienced that with my current internet service provider. Here in the Philippines the internet costs around $45 to $60 a month depending on the speed (MBPS) you want. Sometimes they promises to give you a maximum speed of up to 3.5 mbps for internet broadband but the thing is you are only getting 512 kbps to 1 mbps. It kinda sucks you know but there's nothing I can do for now. It is hard to switch to another service provider. I am thinking of using an app that will boost my internet connection, have you tried using any of it?

It is really hard to have no internet for a day especially if you used to it everyday and need to do things that are base on internet. So far I don't have any internet connection problem and my monthly pay is quiet okay. I hope there will be no interruptions and problems might occur in the coming days.

I pay more than that, and it will be fast at first then goes slow rest of month. It makes me upset, and it can become very annoying. I wish the internet stuff would finally work the way it should.

when it does that, do u call whoever ur internet service ppl? my husband calls them every day and every day they tell us the same thing. blah blahblah blah basicly they tell us that we have to wait 24 hours and they'll get a tech to come by but when he gets here, it suddenly turns right back on and the tech guy cant get a read on the problem unless the internet is unresponsive. so he's not paying the internet bill which total over 100$. but we have our cable and internet together. but cable is like 54 and so is the internet. so he told them that if he doesnt get credit for the whole month he is going to drop them and go to another company that is more reliable.

I can suggest you try another service provider if they are not willing to give you the best of service. The internet has become an integral part of us and I do understand the feeling it can be if you are not online especially if it is urgent issues like email you have to send or reply to or even make an application. However, if there signals are always strong, I would advise you to be patient with them

As you wait for them, you can still be using those computers and when you think you cannot wait any longer, try another very reliable service provider. I will surely lose your patronage to their service.

Yeah, it really is frustrating when I can't connect to the internet even for a day. It gets into me like I am getting mad at the service provider. I don't know, but the impact that the internet have on me now is big. It seems not getting online even just once a day drives me nuts, except when I am out in vacation doing something or some activities that are really interesting. Most of the time, a simple rain will disrupt my internet. Oh well, I just sleep it out to contain my anger over such disruption in the internet service. Try doing that too next time.
