some people find it easy to make decisions while other find it hard to do. How do do you make decisions? Do you make them on your own, or do you need the help of others, Do make a split second decision or think out all the possible outcomes before finally deciding. Please provide an example to keep the discussion going.

I think long and hard before making most of my decisions. And most of the time after I think about my decision I do ask other people's opinions so I can make sure I am making the right one. I write out a list of pros and cons before I make any big decisions. One example is when we moved out of state. I wrote a list and thought about it over and over again. Then when I made up my mind I asked people here and asked my parents about my decision if they thought it was the right thing to do. Little decisions I can do on my own without major thought but big things I like making sure...

I need time to think before i make a decision...but when i do make a decision, i never regret about it. Sometime i do make a decision very quick but sometime i take 1 month for it.

It depends on what the decision is for. I usually do the pros and cons thing which i think is the normal way to do it. How will this decision affect things?Etc. My decision not to take my granddaughter back into my home after she nearly pushed me down the stairs was very hard on me. But I knew I couldn't help her anymore and she would probably be helped more else where. She and I have talked about it since and she understands why I made the decision I did. I try not to make split second decisons. I will usually tell someone I will get back to them or whatever.

I always end up being a failure many times because of being so rush in making decisions. If I am really eager, I would end up making decisions right then and there....and I really hate this trait...It's driving me nuts. And yeah, I do make decisions by myself...but as much as possible, I would really ask for advice from people...it's important to ask for those people who experience such stuff already because they already know about it. Have a nice day!

try to take your time and think about all angles when you have to make big decisions. You will make better decisions in the long-run if you do that.

Decisions I make depends on the situation and how urgent it is. While some people find easy is that they think fast as a result of their temperament and high metabolic rate and therefore are very proactive and pragmatic. But those, who are slow so to say in decision making takes a lot of time and put so many things into consideration. Their temperament is also a factor in decision making. Some decisions for me come from already preconceived belief and so it is easy while some takes time perchance it is the first occurring to me. There some decision I share with close people to me who help me out so that the result will not be counter-productive. Now I having to make to decide between two choices.

Decision are very vital in our everyday life. They can either make-or-mar us in life. Therefore, we must be circumspect especially if it life decision.

I usually make my own decision since I'm the one that will benefit from it and it's my life after all. I don't want others to help me decide what I want to since I may regret if I don't liked the outcome. I always think all of the possible outcomes first before deciding, in that way I can pick the better decision. Example, Just like what I want for my birthday last may, Laptop, Netbook, or a new phone. I usually plan first the benefit of each specially on my study, I decide for a laptop since I'm studying computer science.
