I first encountered them through Swagbucks, and they realized many other sites like swagbucks have partnered up with them. In retrospect they seem ridiculously poor paying, not to mention it was iffy each time I completed a task whether they would register my completion and credit me. Does anyone make any money doing these tasks?

yes, i have made nearly $10 through cloud flower, i guess i had a good luck. i guess you should try clixsense , i have been using on clixsense only, as you complete the task, you are paid, the tasks takes so less time, some tasks are completed in nearly less than a minute but only some through which i get $0.03, i think its fair and some pays $0.07, and thats not bad too. you must give a chance on clixsense or rewardingways. Do as much tasks as you can and your account will be credited instantly.

What sort of tasks take less than a minute and pay between $.03 - $.07? The ones I saw looked like they took ten or more minutes and maybe paid $.10?

There are multiple tasks in which some tasks are so lengthy , takes a lot of time and just gives you $.02-$.03 and some are really very small which gives $.03, depends on the task. I would like to share that few days back i was doing task and there was a task in cloud flower in which i just have to register or give my e-mail id to them and they paid me $0.07 instantly, that task took less than a minute but can be done only once. So just try checking out the task may be some can be good, i normally don't do all task, i only do those which are easy and takes less time. In clixsense you will find lots of tasks.

I have done some of these on Mturk, and yes they do pay. I have made some money with them. Almost all tasks will be poor paying.

I understood that Mturk is actually a different older provider of tasks, did they also partner up with crowdflower and offer their tasks, or are you saying you had success with Mturk? Cheers.
