I like to read my travel guide book about the destinations for all the list of the different places that I fancy visiting. I check out the maps and the accommodation prices in particular. I read up all about Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. However my flight got cancelled and that was very upsetting and worrying. I booked to go to Vancouver and then that airline had strikes. I was so lucky to go there and my trip was planned at the last minute.

Your experience sounds troublesome. I am glad you weren't on a plane that had ' strikes ' while trying to enjoy your travel!

You are one very lucky girl. I think I cannot do what you do in so far as traveling is concerned. I always have a plan and usually makes it one week ahead of time. Well, the thing is, I travel a lot and most often from my place to a different place and then to a different place. Its not usually the vice versa type so I always see to it that after arriving to the place, I check and plan ahead where to go and what flight to take so I can reach my next destination without much hassle and worry.

Sometimes, it really good not to plan too much when you're traveling. It somehow brings out the excitement and thrill. I've had unplanned travels before and I enjoyed them so much. However, it's different when you're traveling with your family, specially when there are kids, planning is vital, otherwise, you might wish to go home in the middle of the trip.

Some of my greatest trips have been the ones I have decided while at lunch. There is nothing like a travel to just escape reality and work and also just experience new things. Do you book your flight at the airport itself?

If I were to attempt this I know it would not go well. I would be sure to forget important items for travel. I would get there late and the security wouldn't go well, I can just imagine so many things to go wrong.
