Where did the knife go? (Y & R)

If you saw Y & R you know that Paul shot Ricky to keep him from Killing Eden with the knife. Okay.. the knife is nowhere to be seen. I don’t remember the scene, but I think the knife went out the window with him into the street. It could be that someone picked the knife up.
Then the scene where Paul goes to the mental hospital and his ex-crazy-wife is in the chair brushing her hair and humming. My daughter said “That’s Ricky!” It sure looked like it could have been a man in a long haired wig. Isabella was a beautiful woman and she left Y & R to work on Desperate Housewives , I think. So anyway, this clearly does not look like the real Isabella to me.. I told my daughter that Ricky is dead, so it can’t be him.
I almost expect her to turn around and claw Paul to death.. or that it is somehow Ricky in a wig! I know it can’t be…

I posted on Paul where I brought up the knife and no one responded. I suggested that the knife went out the window with Ricky and either the inept GC police couldn't find it or someone picked it up. The other knife possibility is that Paul has an enemy on the police force and they took it. I spent almost an hour trying to post about Isabella this morning but everything here was too slow and eventually wouldn't allow the post because they said it had un-allowed usage and to use only words, numbers or ordinary punctuation; my usage was not different than usual. Anyway I was wondering if they were going to bring Isabella back and if so would it be a different actress or, since Desperate Housewives has ended would it be Eva Longoria(see photo) which doubted would happen. My view was that they would not bring her back and all we would see was the back of her head as shown which meant no identifiable actress was necessary and today's show seemed to bare that out.
