I came home from work and my mom infront of me walking in the door. Out runs my sisterscat and its not too bright. Its very nervous but ran and was getting scared because its unknown territory. My cats go in the outside playpen so if they get out they go to the safe place their playpen. We back onto a big highway so if she got out there, she probably wouldn't make it. If my cats run outside without me, they get a time out. They learn from it, and Patches use to go out all the time until she got her time out. My sister comes home and was told to put a collar, and tags on her cat so it can come home (if she got out). She just shrugged and walked off she just couldn't care her cat got out and something could of happen. My mom and me running around trying to catch her. I would be flipping out, not just shrug and walk off at least talk to the cat she just walked by it.

I don't let my cats out, I don't like them roaming around, Junia came right into our house so she was a cat from outdoors but rugby has never been out in his life.

I dont let my cats out unless Im out, and in their playpen. I bought this cage (it has no floor so they can touch the grass). My sister is very irresponsible and doesnt care about her cat. I feel sorry for it, but she has to learn to take care of her responsibilities. If it wasnt for me or my mom the cat wouldnt be fed, cared for. My sister wont come home for weeks, and when she does ignore the cat. So her cat wants attention will do this sort of things so we pay attention to her.

People like that shouldn't have a cat. Does she actually like cats? I would have been like you, freaking out. I don't understand some people at all. She should have gotten out to help get it back in the house too. I know when mine gets out I stay outside til I can get her back in. This has happened many times, coming in with something and she went running out. Did the cat ever come back home?

Yes, the cat came back in. But mine I flip out and run for them before anything could happen. To be honest I don't know if she does or even want the cat. She doesn't feed it or care for it, we all do and you can see this in the cat behaviour also she ignores it when she's home. She had to have this cat when I brought home Patches and Stripes (my two I rescued when someone dumped them at my work). I think she was jealous and how much attention I got for rescuing these cats. She doesn't care for the cat nor bring it to the vets. It had mites and she was trying to take my cats Advantage medication (which is $150 a box). I pryed it out of her hands she needs to learn responsibility she thinks she's going to get a dog.
