Hi friend I was having problem using my entropay virtual visa card . So on advice of a myLotter I attached my card to my paypal account . I tried to send the amount to my mom's paypal so that it could be transferred to her bank account . Paypal didn't allow me to transfer as we are both from India . It said that paypal is for international transaction and no transaction is allowed within the same nation . It was quite a justified view . So now I send my fund to a trustworthy friend living in the U.K . Now she has been told that you are not allowed to send fund to India . She too tried to send to my mother's verified paypal account . I am in a great fix now . I simply don't know how to get back my money . Could someone here please help me solve my problem . I am still awaiting the response of paypal help centre . Thanks in advance .

PayPal has specific rules for India : I have no problem here to send money to another PayPal account in my country and it is why I prefer to do when I buy something on Ebay. Only somebody with a PayPal business account can send money to India, and that it is impossible for a personal account like mine -- and probably the account of your friend in UK --. The problem is not due to PayPal but to the Reserve Bank of India that imposed a lot of restrictions to PP and to Indian citizens -- by example an Indian merchant cannot buy for more than $500 with PP --.

i am surprised to hear some of the comments here. i have a client in u.k and i get paid without any issues. This is the first i am hearing of it. If you have an Indian paypal account you can still make payments either within the country or internationally if you send it using a credit card attached to the paypal account.
