I am a wife of an overseas worker and it so happen that my better half was almost 17 mos out from home.. We do talk day by day but unfortunately it is very hard to be without someone you can talk with day by day... Stress pile up and things change.. So now upon vacation its time to relax a little bit.. but the hardest part is the transition period from different timezone and different routines... How do you handle situations and how would you help me to make things up with a little spicy and happy moments? Any ideas and suggestions how can we make things more exciting with our kids... With the fact that i still go to work almost 10hrs a day...Tell me pips and help me..

If you love your husband and your family, you need to manage your time being available once a day to talk to your hubby daily. Be aware how life being away from our love. Do not do anything which is against the will of both of you...Remember that many broken home due to abroad or a husband and wife away each other. These must your option to be much bolder in your relationship with your hubby.

I think that after being away from one another for so long that things will be quite spicy if you plan it or not..lol. You may come in and take a little nap since your hubby will be there, that way you can stay up a little later after the children have went to sleep. It's hard to plan anything very spicy during the days but if the children happen to be visiting a family member or staying at a trusted friend's home... I am glad that you are getting to see your better half..17 months is a long time.

you could do a videocall everyday. at least, everyday you would still see each other if though far away. If your problems is the transition in timezone, I think the only way to solve is to agree upon a common time where the two of you could chat. I hope I helped you even a little. Have a nice day :)
