There are some tricks and tips you can try before going to bed and once you get there that may help. Turn off all electrical "toys" (i.e. computer, phone, video games) an hour before you are going to bed. This will help your brain calm down. Part of the reason so many people seem "addicted" to those items is because of how they stimulate the brain and it craves that stimulation. Take a relaxing bath or shower about an hour before bed. This will help your muscles relax and allow your hair time to dry out, sleeping on wet hair can be uncomfortable and keep you awake. Keep your room at a cool temperature. This encourages you to pile on blankets and snuggle down into the bed and discourages you from getting out. The weight of the blankets and the warmth they create can help calm and relax you. Block out extraneous noise and light. Hang curtains that keep out any light. Sleep with your door mostly or all the way closed. Use ear plugs if you find them comfortable enough. Sleep alone if you can. Another person's sleeping habits may be disturbing you.
