The Internet can be a powerful tool for promotion, marketing, staying connected to your family & friends, keeping updated and other benefits. But it has also been a tool to easily spread hate and cyber bully. Social networking sites are easy haven because you can create anonymous account and hate on people including those that you don't even know. Celebrities get cyber bullied a lot. they have thousands and millions of followers that 1 typo error gets noticed, a tweet can be misunderstood and the next thing you know you're getting hate tweets. And it really affects those people who gets hate, its emotionally stressful. People must be reminded to be responsible and respectful. Think before you click.

I hate cyber bullying. Mostly because... well, at least in real-life bullying, people tell those things to others' faces... in this case people are even too coward to bully people face to face. But I do not condone any form of bullying. I hate that insecure or conceited people feel the right to mock other people... and the worst thing is that they can usually get away, because these people feel the right just because they are rich or pretty... I hate when people brag about things they didn't do anything for.

I did a project about the effects of cyber bullying as part of my degree, and I have to say that it was shocking with regards to the number of people who have been affected by it at some point. Also, the people who were affected are having a really hard time in their life because it's a lot harder to stop than face to face bullying because of the fact that you can't see the person who is bullying you, and you often have problems tracing them at all. But you always have the chance to block and delete people so this is something that you should be aware of.

I am with you! I am an anti-bully advocate. Don't get me wrong, am not part of any organization or something but I call myself an advocate of this campaign. You see, am not this kind of person who would just defend myself if someone bullies me but I will defend anyone who is being bullied. And, that is why I am campaigning against any form of bullying. In fact, I had even wrote about this in one of my blog entries. We're not to overuse our freedom of expression. Not because we're given that we're just gonna say whatever nasty things we sooo wanna say and devastate another person's life. We should be responsible with our words. Let's use words that build not those that destroy.

Hi friend, you are right, internet is the great tool to promote good and bad things. We must think a lot before typing, since online world is a vast area and lot of persons have the ability to read our things. We must be kind and don't hurt others with our writing. Surely we must avoid cyber bullying which is not a good thing
