Oh no! My NOOK stopped working!

I was reading my NOOK in bed this morning, when it suddenly froze and the screen went blank--not completely off, just a blue-ish tinge. I was SO upset--I have something like 75 books on it plus numerous games, email, word processing and other apps. Luckily I found a tip on a Barnes and Noble users forum and got it to start working again. But now I realize how dependent I have become on this electronic book device--and two years ago, I swore I would never use one! There is much to be said for reading old-fashioned books. . .

Congrats on getting it to work again. Never knew what you meant by a Nook until I read your text. It my be good to make backups of your ebooks in case it happens again.

NOOK is Barnes and Noble's e-reader, similar to the Amazon Kindle. It is handy--you can bring 100 books with you anywhere! I am going to make back-ups for sure.
