Why people become fool when in love?

I just noticed. There are people I personally know who have chosen to follow their hearts and didn't listen to their brain.. and so they must suffer the consequences.
It's really funny, if we just analyze everything and do not let our eyes be blinded by the facts, no one will be fooled. No hearts will be broken..
Is it because we get too emotional when we are in love? Is it because our heart becomes more powerful than our minds when we are in love? What are your thoughts here?

I think people become very foolish when they are in love because they become blinded when they are in love. When two people are in love, it is like they do not see the negative things about their partner. Instead, they only see the positive side and why they are so in love with their partner. In my opinion, this is the reason why couples become very foolish in love. This is not the case for every couple though. Some couples are mature enough so they do not act this way. happy mylotting

yeah the saying "love is blind". we tend to overlook and examine the real scenario and consequences. We'd like to convince ourselves that what we found is true and all of what we hear from that special person are true.. when we are in love it's so easy to become fool and easily duped. we can do something to fight against that tendency by using our brain and by not allowing our hearts to blind our eyes in the reality. but you know I must agree it's pretty hard to do..

There are some people who can't really control especially in terms of emotions. There are times that you can't really dictate your feelings just like that. It is a matter of conviction as well.

well what you said is very true. sometimes it's really hard to control our emotions as if our hearts have its own brain
it takes enough courage to act against what your heart feels. falling in love is a good feeling but if we are on the wrong tract we shouldn't tolerate our hearts no matter how good it makes us feel.

The logic is quite simple since their mind will be corrupted in the sense they will always think about their true love which is the lover and the mind gets diverted all time and thinks when can we chat with him/her and when can we go out.so they dont put in a conscious effort to realise the outside world hence leading to so many foolish and idiotic activities.obviously our heart has so much power to kill our minds ,that is why i feel it is always best to be a bachelor

you got it! I guess our hearts instruct our mind what to think. We are always excited to talk to the special person and we tend to not care for what other people will think to us.. but that is like traveling the road of love blindly and it could be as dangerous as driving without head lights. This is what I have observed among lovers.. our hearts can kill our minds if we don't use it wisely.

damn true.. i am agree with you
love is always having internal power which make u bound every where..u can not do any thing if you are in love.i saw alot of peoples who are even well mutured and they are damn good in their lifes but they seems bound in love...they are like the foolest person ever when they are dealing in love but in their other matters they do well

This is very true in my experience I cannot do anything for the day. There are intelligent people but they acted like fools when in love. Our heart really becomes more powerful when we are in love.
