Well I found them interesting and just wondering if all r 100% right in the facts. 1. Mango belongs to the same family as the cashew and the pistachio nut. 2. In Thailand, mango is served with sweet sticky coconut rice. 3. In India, mangoes are a symbol of love. 4. A lassie is a popular drink in India. Make your own mango lassi by blending mango, yogurt, a little sugar, and some crushed ice. p.s. Information from US National Mango Board. For me ........ Just love them chilled on a hot summer day.

Thanks for this information Sandy. As a matter of fact I just had my first mango for the season yesterday, and then my second today. LOL Actually mangos have been available for a while now, but prefer to wait for the Qld Mangos to get to an acceptable price. :)

They are a little dearer down here at present, but my husband bought them for me as a 'belated' birthday present. He knows I love them, and he doesn't eat them himself, so I get all that he buys. Of course when 'the child' is home, then I have to share them with him. LOL

Mine are Cantaloupes. Tastes pretty good.My favorite fruit is pomegranate.Cant resist them anytime. They are very tasty and mouth watering. Also there are a wide range of mangoes with different tastes that one does not get bored of the fruit any time.
