I was really surprised that I didn't find a descussion for this author. I love her series: the Weather Warden and the Outcast Season. Our heroine in the Weather Warden series is Joanne Baldwin, a tough weather warden who is a part of an organization called the wardens. They help manage the natural disasters in our world like earthquakes, tornados and they are partnered with Djinn (and they live in bottles). Without them these disasters would become much worse. In the first book Joanne is accused of murder and she's on the run looking for Lewis Orwel, who has all the three abilities (fire, weather, earth). While on the run Joanne learns a lot of thruths about the wardens, and the Djinn who are not too happy living in bottles and doing the wardens bidding. The Outcast Season is a spin-off of the Weather Warden series and it's about a fallen Djinn called Cassiel. Both is great. Have you guys read it? What did you think?
