Have you ever had a near death life altering expereince? Did it change your life? Did it last?

Yes, I have had. And yes, it did change my life. Did it last? Well, I would say so. Then again, it's tough to say if I would have lived any differently, since I only lived as I lived. What would have happened otherwise anyway? I don't think there's a what would have happened otherwise. There only is what was.
Still, I'm wiser for having gone through it.
But you didn't tell us yet, what was your life altering experience?

My life altering experience was having hit a rut in Houston , America and not knowing where to turn I flew to Arusha, Tanzania and tried to forget my problems. I got sick either a seizure or dehydration doctor not sure which one . It made me realize their is nothing or no where to run but inside myself I already knew that but needed reinforced.
Still trying to make sure I keep focus and that the mindsets last in my mind.

When I was 8, I was running across the street like a retard, almost got hit by a car. As a young boy, I didn't give a crap :D
