Watching the Sunrise

Ever wake up early enough to watch the sun come up? I have done this many times, and it is one of my favorite things to do. When on the east coast of anywhere it makes it even more spectacular. I will wake up early, make a big cup of coffee and then head down to the beach or somewhere with a large clearing and watch as the giant ball of fire seems to rise from the sea or land. It's one of the things that reminds me just how small we are.

I'm glad that you do this. I haven't done anything like this in along while. In fact I can't remember the last time I did something like this. Perhaps sometime I will be able to do this when I have a little more time to get up earlier. I don't seem to get up that early as I often stay up late. Enjoy those times I'm sure they are very special.

It's always worth it. :) If you stay up really late you should try just staying up until the sun comes up and then going to sleep after.

Yeah I will definitely have to add that to my list of things to see. And it doesn't cost anything which is always great. I hope that you are enjoying your time at mylot. Keep the postings coming.

It is really nice and amazing to watch sunrise especially in the beach or in a beautiful mountain. It symbolizes new day, new life and oppurtunity in this world. It is night here and raining hard so I hope to see the bright sun tomorrow.

Exactly. Makes everything seem like it's going to keep getting better and better.

Indeed, we are nothing compared to the forces of nature, to the planets or stars surrounding us. I have seen early morning sunrise, but now it is becoming very less frequent. It is very hectic with children, and even on Sundays, we are occupied with a lot of things.

I haven't tried that in my whole life. maybe because we are not living near a beach and usually when I wake up the sun is already high I'd love to try that someday. It seems very relaxing. Maybe when I go to the beach again for some relaxation. I'll try to wake up early and see the sunrise and imagine how God loves us even though we are just as small as a drop of water compare to His creations.
