Has anyone seen the end of the rainbow?

Rainbow - Rainbow is merely a large band of parallel stripes which displays a spectrum of color that make up the sun's white light.

I always heard during my childhood days that you can find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. I really wanted to see how true it was but I got no chance to see it. Has anyone seen the end of a rainbow? Is it true that there's a pot of gold there?

Haha yes, I did. And at times, it's the end of the rainbow that finds me! There's not a pot of gold at the end as you claim to be childish. Indeed. I grew up at the countryside and we see rainbow many times (8 out of 10 after-the-rain-stops). Our house is near the rice fields and the river so that when the rainbow appears, it's end touches a wide area covering our house, a part of the yard the rice field below us, the river few meters beyond the rice fields. And, know what? If you're at the end of the rainbow, there's a lot of yellow but not gold haha. The area touched by the beam of yellow light, of course, is colored yellow and that'll makes that 'gold like'!

No pot of gold. I have seen the end of the rainbow where one hit the ground and since a rainbow is produced by sunlight shining through raindrops, a rainbow cannot penetrate the ground. So I have seen the end of a rainbow; actually it was a double rainbow. So sorry there was no pot of gold.

HaHa, a trick question. There is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and yes we have all seen it. It is the mono-Atomic gold collected in the dew that is ever present where ever there is mosture in the air and surface and the sun shines through. As long as you can see it(water), you see the droplets of water which contain such miniscule amounts of this gold that it is invisible to the naked eye, but it is there. Water yes, an abundance, but only a nano pot of gold in which only Horton could hear the WHo's speak of such glory.. the rest is just gossip according to Horton.

i am for sure that no one has seen it since its everlasting and it keeps going, one time i followed it and it kept on going like a river and it never ended so .i think its neverlasting and diminishes in size as we go near it.some say its near the earth ground but i dont believe it,we cant ever see the end of a rainbow .but i also heard that there is a small tinge of goldish yellow near it.
