i still am having some problem on being fat

i would not say i am an obese. but i have grown fat. i am just like 5 pounds away or 10 pounds away to getting mildly obese already for my height. but i need to lose 40 pounds to get to my normal weight. so i am hoping that i can have the motivation to lose a lot of weight again. but i just control my desire to eat a lot. because it is like my comfort food when i am bored and when i am sad. i would be so happy if i can get more active and lose all those 40 pounds.

Well I hope you lose weight, you don't want the diseases that are associated with excess weight. Try to eat less but nutritious foods like fruits for snacks instead of chips, to avoid eating because you have nothing to do, try to find a hobby and if you have a spare time try to walk or jog 30minutes to 1hour a day. With exercise and proper diet you will lose more than 2 lbs per week. Stay healthy, Good day and God bless

That's what I want to avoid that's why I want to lose weight. The important thing for me to do is cut down on rice intake

Losing weight is like stopping to smoke, it very difficult to achieve when you have the habit of eating and more also like you said finding comfort in food. It's a very bad idea to see food as a kind of reinforcement for being sad or moody and that is where the problem lies itself. I would want you to try stop using food as that reinenforcement that takes your mind of the situations you find yourself. Then if you can do that then you can lose more weight with devotion to your gym class because that is what you need, you can not achieve this on your own as you don't have the right set of mind to take your body through all the rigorous of achieving 40pounds because that is a lot of weight to lose on your own spare time. One more thing you should consider is skipping meals and eating just one heavy meal and the rest should be fruits, mostly bananas and apple, they help a lot in losing weight.

I know it's very hard. Requires lot of discipline. Before I can easily discipline my self on food

I would suggest you to read some article in the net about mixing foods. As I know some foods mixed together while you have them in one single meal are harder to be processed of your specific type of metabolism, that's why all people who has knowledge in healthy eating suggest we to mix the right foods. Such as meat and cheese mixed together are difficult for our stomach, they always suggest vegetables with everything, such like cheese with vegetables, meat with vegetables. Also if you cook meat and potatoes - eat one of them now and the other one later, like first you eat the potatoes and then the meat. Same thing for rice with meat. I would say it has a great result on me. I am living mostly online, instead of going out, sporting, walking, dancing or whatever. My body feels the moves, but my job is just like that and it is hard for me to find time about doing healthy things, or sometimes I am just getting lazy. Eat more salads, season foods, but not canned. As example now is summer here and we have lots of vegetables and fruits. Use the time and eat what is growing at the specific season. I am sure you will have a great success doing that. Good luck.

I have been considered obese almost all of my life to be honest. Every paper the doctor has given me talks about obesity...people say that I'm very tall for my age and that could be the main factor but I don't believe them. I know that it's a problem that I have and am ready to face the facts of my obesity. I also have very low self-esteem so maybe that plays a role as well but still..

we have almost the same problem , everytime im sad or depress i tend to overeat but i see to it that everytime i eat so much i must exercise to lose the calories ..i've been very fat from 65 to 55 it really takes very strong motivation and dicipline to lose weight, first you must see to it that more calories are out rather than the calories you take in,.also try water therapy. ..

Rule of thumb, calories in must be less then calories out. You must be active. Doesn't mean you have to go to the gym. Just do your daily chores always, like cleaning the house, office work, walk to the groceries or even playing some sports. Eat less saturated and trans fat. Eat more protein food, such as eggs and meat as it will slightly increase your muscle mass which also helps to increase metabolic rate. Drink green tea, consume acai berries (there's tablets and fluid type), eat more vegetables such as capsicum or bell peppers as those two together with green tea are thermogenic. Have oatmeal for breakfast as it is full of fibre which promotes toilet session. Drink a lot of water so you won't feel weak.

Hi hotsummer, I am one of those people who tend to eat when a lot when i am depresses and this is very bad. i don't have any control then. I can actually eat and eat and eat. I am also one of those who need to lose fat and come to normal. I have tummy fat a lot. what i do nowadays is that i drink warm water in the morning before breakfast. i helps me a lot. And whenever i have lime i squeeze little lime in it. I am trying to go out and have a brisk walk. I can see it working on me. have a good day

Hi hotsummer, how are you today? Don't lose hope hotsummer. You can do it. Just take it slow. If you don't want to become obese and then you should start exercising. You don't have to start quickly, just relax first and think that you should really need that. It's for your own good. Like this, every morning you can walk around your area or park for about 15 to 30 minutes, you can do it everyday or every other day. It is a good start then. If you have other spare time at evening, you can still to try walk again only for 10 to 15 minutes. Try it! Eat lots of vegetables, fruits not junk foods. you can still eat your favorite chocolates, chips or cookies just eat it with limit. Don't over eat the junk foods. instead you can replace it like vegetables or fruits. Yogurt is good too. Good Luck and I hope you can do it. Just give me feedback. Thank you!
