My marriage was an arranged marriage and I went to see my wife and liked her and proposed. Where did you meet your life partner and who proposed first?

My husband was the roommate of my then boyfriend. That is how we met. He proposed, after taking me to pick out my ring. He wanted me to wait until March so he could propose, but it was Valentine's day and he saw things differently.

My wife and I have been in a relationship for 5 years. We worked together in the same company and that was how I was able to know her well. Well, we really had this plan to get married but obviously it was me who proposed. It took as a while to make our plans come into a reality since we were still trying to save enough money so that when we settled down, we have enough to support our plans.

It used to be arranged marriages but time has changed that made most traditions vanish. In few regions arranged marriages are still found. Nowadays men and women usually get to know first before they finally decide to get married. If both agree, it is always men who propose.

Betrothal-it's not common anymore in our community. The children who are being betrothed don't always fall for each other and the marriage doesn't work. Parents ,presently, leave the choice to their children. I met my husband in a community reunion. He proposed after 6months. It seems we just met yesterday.

In our place mostly arranged marriages are more common than the love marriages. I also think that arranged marriages are good to some extent.

I met my husband during a travel abroad. He's also the one who proposed to me after being together for more than a year. I do always wonder about arranged marriages. It's just making me curious if at this time and age it still happens; apparently it does.

It would have to be my partner. As a male I was too proud knowing that we were always the ones to ask and initiate.

I think it is always great to tell the person we love him or her and to propose them and to marry them.

I met my lover when my friend brought me to my house. We did not have any kind of feelings before, but it started growing until finally I proposed her.

my husband propose marriage even before we were in a romantic relationship. he courted me for such a long time, and so many times my answer was no. but he never stop pursuing me, and would ask for marriage. at first, i find it awkward, but as time goes by, i find him serious about it. and i eventually admire him for his presence through all those times. he never left me even the times when i don't need him and am happy with someone else. with all his effort, i see love.

I met my husband in school, were classmate and he was my team leader when we were studying in nursing school. Were friends for a few months and fell in love during our hospital duty. He is the one proposed to our marriage and I am very happy with him.
