Ignorance of the laws and rules excuses no one. That's absolutely true! This morning i check my email and i'm quite surprised i received a lot of mylot notification. With eagerness i immediately open and to my dismay it's all about some violations i've made during the time i've made my discussion or comments. I'm disappointed but I come to think that it's also my fault and no other person should be blame.I guess we need to learn to check first the rules, policy and everything before we write, join or even answers to the given questions. It's quite sad but i'm happy at least as early as today i got a lesson for me not to commit same mistakes again in the future...how about your experience?

It dosent matter if you make mistakes as long as you try and learn from them. The my lot community is good as they will tell you if something violates the user guidlines they also recognise the difference between the genuine mistakes you have made and when people purposefully break the rules for example users that have been copying other peoples discussions.Though you will probably always make a couple of mistakes as its not always obvious that a discussion violates the user guidlines as there is a grey area between talking about your my lotting behaviour and discussing the earnings system.I have had a few posts deleted recently but this is because i have answered discussions that have been deleted for being copies which i didnt realise when i answered the discussion.

We all have those moments when we violated a rule or two unintentionally. (at least you weren't like last night's sicko who passes off other people's work as his own idea for discussion, that's just so low). Anyway, what's important is you're here and trying again. And that's what separates those who committed a violation out of ignorance from those of "this might work" mentality. I also got notifications from mylot but these are about my deleted comments because the discussion was deleted by the thread starter. I know it was at first awkward and discomfiting but then, there are some things which we really have no control of. Good luck and hope you still have a good time here!

I take this event as a great lesson and a mere challenge on my part to still learn something and to be careful next time. I'm just a beginner and very overwelmed with the environment so i forget to read first the guideliness before withing any posting...But i'm happy because i know it so early.

The worst I've experience so far is when my comment has been deleted because the question under it was deleted but as to my own discussion, I never experience it. I am trying my best to follow the rules. It's okay that we are being reminded of the mistakes we had committed at least it is just a reminder and we can still continue with our work. We should be more careful the next time around.

I'm still new and I just checked my email and also got notifications from some discussions that were deleted. Luckily, the discussions that I started are still there. Anyway, there are just lessons that we need to learn for us to be better not just in mylotting but also in our daily life. Don't be disappointed if you feel that way. Move on and continue sharing brilliant ideas/ discussions. Have a great day Daisy!

what's important is that you have learned. sometimes, we really have to commit mistakes at first before we could truly learn. thanks for sharing your experience, i must also learn from this since i haven't received notification with regards to violation.

the notification clearly states my violations which should be read from the guideliness of making discussions and comments but the problem is that i have not read it first. I'm thinking i still have a lot of things to learn.
