Free advertising that really works?

Is there a way to advertise somewhere for free? And it works? I tried a lot of sites but it didn't work. I mean even paid advertising doesn't work in places like Clixsense and Neobux because some ads don't load and people mostly click for money (like me) and not care. (But those sites in the ads look like scams) But I guess it also depended on the product and service I'm offering as well. I planned to do a full blown advertising for my Zazzle store after I create about 100 and above products.
