Have you experienced the effects of Salvia Divinorum ? Please share your experience.. and what you feel about it.

I have not tried it, but I know people who have. It is very unpredictable in it's effect on people. It can give people a euphoric feeling or a manic, crazy kind of reaction. It has been used, much like other hallucination promoting plants, in religious rituals but the people I knew that used it were just doing it on a recreational basis.

It is an opioid so I suppose it's pretty dangerous.

I've tried it, it can in fact be dangerous if you are doing it alone, because it drastically changes your state of consciousness and can also have other effects on your body. As soon as you take it you get a different perspective of your own life and the universe. You feel like you are the universe and the universe is in you. Something like that. I am not actively search for this experience again. But I will try it if I get the chance to just to get that feeling again.
