I'm wondering what mylotters have in mind when responding to posts and discussions. What kind of posts catches your attention and what topics bore you?

I like answering questions and posting in topics which are thought-provoking. If it's just some silly survey or something, I tend to steer away from those stuff.

I expected this to be the main reason. I'm thinking others would just respond to anything common. Nice..

There is not any hard and fast rule as to whose discussions are to be responded. Moreover on Mylot nobody knows each other directly, personally so there are less chances of giving preference to any particular person. I use to comment whichever i like to.

Hmm I do this if I have a lot of time, otherwise I just respond to that which tickles my thought. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, all the discussions that I made or I would respond, I do seriously. My interest option is based on reality. Sure there is a popular interest and boring. "Life", "Love", "Be Success", "Parenting", "Family", "People", "Relationships", "Been in love", "Poetry" and many more, extremely useful. "Making money", "Make extra money", "Question and answer" includes a bore. Many also mylotters, is wrong in choosing interest.

I love sport and try to reply on a lot of topics especially football, soccer in the USA. Politics is the topic that really bores me.

Any discussions especially those which interests me a lot. When I am on the mood to reply on the discussions, I try to read it first and see what I can do to it. If I have an idea, I would give my response but I don't, I will skip and proceed to another.

I usually do not have any preferences. I do respond to any discussion that I find interesting and I have something to say about the topic been discussed.

Hmm this comes most as the common answer. It's the winner, I guess. Thanks for sharing!
