what ever happened to the news stories that you could read and comment on? Were those taken out in the update?

The news section was removed a long, long time ago, probably because it was open to abuse by some users who seemed to think that no-one ever saw what was happening there

how can news be misused? --"no one ever saw what was happening there". I do not follow.

I also never cheated I just liked reading the stories on here and arguing politic with almost all of them.

I do not remember to have seen news stories since my becoming active in mylot say a year ago. perhaps it was there earlier.

I was going to say that I see them when I log out of my account and go to the homepage, but all that's there now are entries from the blogs.
They must have removed them but I have no idea when it happened.

Those news stores have gone away. No explanation was ever given. It's been a long time. Several mylotters, including myself, liked them and miss them. We posted discussions about them but they never came back.
