If your son or daughter came to you and told you that they were homosexual, what would be your reaction to that, and why?

Part of the job description of being a parent is to love your child unconditionally. I would support her choice.

I would be disappointed, but would get over with. I love my children unconditionally. I would welcome their significant other into my home.

My son is only 10 so hopefully I still have a few years before he starts dating. I would support him whatever he does. He will always be my son and I will always love him and support him. I live in Iceland and Icelanders are generally very liberal and tolerant towards gay and lesbian people. They are just people like anyone else. Iceland was one of the first countries to allow gay marriages.

I would be shocked, but not angry. I would make sure they would know that they are still part of this family and I will stand behind them with whatever will make them happy.
