There's a person just now add me to their friend list and I approve because I thought why not I never have problems before.
But this fella messaged me to join their website or sign up for something through their referral link. And I told this fella off then I delete him/her of my friend list.
How annoying.

Too bad MyLot doesn't monitor messages as well. But that person doesn't bother me much.
Looks like I have to carefully examine these users before adding them to my friend list.

I personally feel there is nothing wrong with it. As long as he does not message you all day long and just once, then that is fine. Most of us are here for monetary reasons anyway.

That's the right thing to do
also report that person to the admin if the admin found that he/she is spamming everyone's inbox then he will do the right thing

In fact this is the reason why people don't accept FRs here of others on Mylot
.But its great that we have an option to delete friends here otherwise it would have tough for us to deal with such spammers.You did it right to delete that fellow from the list i too often do that.

Sometimes this happens, but this don't annoy me that much, I just delete the message and usually they don't send more than one time. I just don't understand why they send because what are the chances of someone really sign up using a link from a person that they never talked before.

Actually if you are ready and accepted such situation. I mean is whether we or others are offering you 1000's of link or referral offers the final discission is from you because you are the one who doing or not doing that.. As other said normal as in normal situation.

There are many people who register in here inly to promote and get refs.
You can notice them very easy: people who are registered for a long time and only with a few posts.
If someone is spaming me I also delete him from my friends list.

Hi friend, This kind of persons are common here, mostly the persons who is having low posts or zero posts will do this kind of activities, as they don;t know the real concept of this site, you did a great think by deleting them. I am also in your sort, i too received a lot of messages in this sort and simply deleted the person from my list to avoid spams
