Crazy incident happening every single day here

I just don't understand what got into people's mind that drive them crazy. They wanna kill so badly, and they won't afraid to die. I bet majority of you already read the news, that a young man, 24 years old open fire on a movie theater on the batman movie premiere. I just don't understand, similar incident happen over and over again. Are there so many crazy people reside in our country, that they can't find an alternative way to solve their own problem, instead of killing other innocent people? What is happening here?

I've been thinking of that a lot lately & looking back over my lifetime to see if I can pinpoint a specific time or event that changed the way people look at life, 
It seems that somewhere along the way people have lost respect for themselves & the respect of another's life. I don't know that there even is an answer. All I can do is pray for the souls of those contemplating such a horrific event!!!
