You can't really know a person until you hear them speak. People will judge you by the words you speak. One of the reasons i like to keep quiet around people i don't know is because i do not wish to be judged. I want them to look at me and have no clue of who i am.

I think there is advantage to be quiet. You here more and can be observant. On the other hand you sometimes don't get to know people.

Agreed to what you are saying. Also to add, learn when to be quiet and when to speak up. People will respect you more this way

My personal opinion is that speak whenever necessary. However, I believe that just be ourselves and don't hide things as our body language tend to give it away somehow. People tend to judge others before judging themselves and my take on this is to just stay cool headed :)
