You already knew that Verizon has new data share plan which they emphasize the data usage can be share within a family plan, among family members, but with much higher price. If you exceed the quoted data amount, you will be charged significant amount of money. The same deal will be the same on AT&T. Although I am not a AT&T customer, I understood that with smartphone and iPhone, more or less, I have to use internet connection, with such data plan won't justify cost they charge me. I found out there were many better deal, and you don't have to sign contract with them too. Like Cricket, Virgin Mobile, Metro PCs, and Boost Mobile; these second - tier mobile service providers are great with their deals, and you don't have to sign contract with them too. Why not switch it.

Talk of data share plan has been out for a while... It seems like they're just starting to implement it... First time I've hear that was around Christmas last yer... As far as no contract companies go, I'm sure they have their advantages... But for me, when I tried per-paid companies, I ran into coverage issues... I depend on my phone heavily for my work... I need it to work In places I travel to for work reasons & most of the pre-paid companies seem to be limited on their coverage... I'm sure they've gotten better lately but I'll keep my contract with AT&T... I'm not saying AT&T is the greatest cell phone company out there but they seem to work fine for my purpose...
