Fast Music will Cause You to Eat More

A study was done that concludes the connection between music and eating habit. The researchers said that when people eat with fast music they tend to eat a lot. However, when people are subjected to slow music they'll tend to eat slower. However, this study has not been validated by health professionals. Do you agree with this? I mean what is the relationship of our brain/eating habits and music?

I can't eat with fast music, either. But slow music will be OK. So the musis really has an effect on our eating.

It would be easy for you to go on a diet then. Well, in my case if I'm hungry it fast or slow I'll be munching away! Seriously thank you for your shared observation. :)

I know! Wouldn't it be amazing Olonam if you get to lose weight just because of the music in the background? I mean it's a long shot but it's funny when you think about it. Don't you agree? :)

The research hasn't been proven jricky1. It still lacks data. Yes, maybe it is due to the fact that music does affect our mood don't you think? If music does help in controlling our appetite I sure would want to study it to my benefit! :)

I think, it's true. I get the same experience when I eat while a music plays. I eat slow and relaxed with the sound of mellow, jazz tunes. But, with rock music - that's really fast, I eat very quickly.

Yeah, I think it affects our actions at one point. However, I don't think I would be inclined to eat more with rock music. I'm not so much of a fan of rock music. :( Sometimes, it gets too noisy for me.

The study didn't really let the people listen to music musicloverfriend. They just played it in the restaurant while people were eating. I love music as well but it doesn't seem to distract me when I'm eating. Come to think of it nothing does! Haha!

What Ive heard is that fastfoods would use fast music so their customers would finish eating faster and vacate the tables, soon enough for other customers to take their place. While, shopping malls would play slow music so that customers would be more relaxed in going around looking for more items to buy.

Wow seriously? I think the fastfood restaurants here haven't applied that principle yet. A lot of them are still playing love songs and slow songs during the day. I do hope the research gets to prove this though.

I cann`t hear music while we are on the table. Maybe at a party or a restaurant with videos. I prefer classic music, and slow music. I think that the volume of the music is very important too.

I think if you're focused on other things you really don't get to notice the music at times. However, do you think it still has an effect on our subconscious? Yes, I agree the volume if too high, will distract you and take away your appetite for eating.
