Hi imAbigael, I am glad to hear that you have got the first pay out from ODesk.Congratulations.I am eager to know that what type of job you got there to do.Was it an easy job? How you got the job.As a discussion you can elaborate all these things. That will be helpful to other mylotters.

Thank you so much, well I am a web-tester it was an easy task, testing the website and find some error or bugs then I just need to report on my employer from time to time but it was only one week or less contract then I got paid by the amount of our agreement of my employer. Its easy to apply a job on odesk but it was also hard to wait to their response if you get hired and you can start the job. Contractors must be patient there. :)

That's a happy moment of you. Actually i'm expecting to get my first paid in mylot maybe on the 15th hopefully. But sometimes i'm quite lazy to make some participation especially if there's nothing that motivates me in writing and if i also don't feel interested in making some reactions of some discussion started.

Hi Abigael, Congrats on getting your first pay online! The first time you get paid the feeling is always the sweetest, never mind the amount. Of course if the amount is substantial all the better. You must have a lot of patience and perseverance to get freelancing jobs on the internet as competition is intense and most applications for such jobs come to nought. Keep up the good work and be sure to share your experience with fellow mylotters. Have a nice day.

Thank you so much. Well at first I was a website tester and now I have a second new contract, just now I'm busy working on a site my job is to give an answer and comment support for the people posting for technical questions. I agree with you its very hard to find a job in the freelancer world, there are so many competitors and of course they need to review your resume and capability. Well good luck to us, I need to spare myself sometimes I like here too.

Dear congrats! I dont use odesk or any freelancer site like that.i only work online when i am bored on the net or somethin glike that. I am using three sites now. Paidviewpoint, quickrewards and mylot. I like the three sites and i am not obsessed with money and have cut down on workimg online. But i remember the first time i recived some money in my paypal account i was overjoyed.

Woohoo! Congratulations on that; every single cent that comes in as income, especially if it's from a really job well done is worth a celebration no matter how small. It only goes to show that when you really put your mind and efforts into earning extra, you can. Juts keep on doing what you do best; sooner or later you will realize you have gained steady clients and have built your reputation that you also start earning bigger. Truly, the limit that you can earn from your extra work is entirely dependent on the limits you set on yourself. More earnings to all of us!

I am also a member on odesk and got paid as well, but just a small amount, since i did not really finished the task but i did half of it so they paid me for my work. It is really hard to get accepted for a job on odesk especially if you are just a newbie there and you don't have anything to show on your portfolio. The secret to getting accepted is to write a very effective application.

You should try it now, there are so many options to get a job there and they have allot of payment methods. You just need to verify your profile by adding documents like passport or any government id and then your bank account.

Hi riyauro! Odesk.com is like freelancer.com but on my own experience I would prefer odesk because they are more detailed on the process unlike freelancer it makes me frustrated applying for a job there. And allot of employer and the vacant jobs on freelancer are frauds. well how to get there you just need to be a contractor and like freelancers you just need to list down your infos/experience/etc at first you have a limitations applying on jobs like you only started applying only 10 or 12? job applications. The more your account is detailed and complete the more the employer are convince to hire you. There are allot of job options to apply in odesk.
